I've got a good one.

Back in highschool, on the second to last day of the second year, five of us decided to have a sleepover at a friend's house, out in her garden because her parent's weren't home. Unfortunately she didn't have a key (she was officially sleeping at someone else's house), and close to midnight it started to rain. Her house is right next to the school, so we figured we'd just go in and sleep there. A teacher was still there and we made him believe that we just needed to use the loo, so he opened the main door for us and put a stone in the doorframe so we could get out again and then he left. Because you know, we were the group of girls who were known as the really decent ones who would never have stupid ideas.
Needless to say, some had bottles of liquor with them. By the time it was 2, half of us were drunk (me not included. Someone has to keep a clear head :P ) and we were having a ball in the school basement. I probably acted more drunk than the actually drunk people  Around 4, we all left the building again, believing that we'd gotten away with it.

So, last day of school, we were having the annual last-day-sporting-event (which I always hated) and we suddenly got taken to the headmaster. Long story short: someone had seen us leave early in the morning and had informed the school. We all confessed our nightly stay in the basement straight away. It was everybody or no one and we just went with everybody.

We got the telling off of our lives! Including a letter to our parents, accusing us of domestic disturbance and trespassing, which we didn't even realize we had done at the time. You just don't think about those things as a fifteen year old!

Anyways, for a while I was really, really upset and scared because of all of that, especially because my mum had fallen out like never before and I usually was the most well-behaved person you could imagine.

Thinking back at it now though, that night in the school basement was probably one of the most fun nights I ever had. :P

The joke in the books (the weevil one is in there as well) is when someone asks why the Dog Watch (which is the shortest one) is called the Dog Watch and the doctor replies: Because it is cur-tailed.

Everyone thinks it's the funniest joke ever and it gets passed from ship to ship.
