The rest of us are a bit crap.

Yay Dotsie! :D I'm so glad things went well.

Joolz, nice bike. 8-)

Congratulations Rap! That must have really felt great.

Pip, I know how you feel. Thing 2 would stack things to climb before she could even walk.

Had to laugh at stats in paper saying e books were on average 25% cheaper than real books.
They forgot the mention the small charge involved in actually purchasing the device on which you read the bloody things as well as the fact you don't own and can't lend.
Twisting stats to suit the story pees me write off . should go over to the abomination page with this .

Pip, here's a picture of the broken tower at Caerphilly Castle.

When my kids were toddlers we went there for a visit and the next thing we knew, the two of them had climbed the broken wall and were waving from the top. :o You have no idea (yet) the sort of panic that can cause for a parent.

Just watched a episode of Time Team from the first series, where they were digging in the Shropshire town of Much Wenlock, where a good friend of mine lives. What made me smile was the name of a stream that runs through the town - Sh!t Brook.

What you need to do with the horror DVDs is put new covers on them with really boring titles. Like Vetinari does with his books on camouflage. ;)

That depends on the kinds of horror DVDs they are. "101 Things that Can Go Wrong with Diaper Changing," "How to Survive the First Six Months" and "Colic: The Never-Ending Nightmare" are some of the scariest DVDs I've ever watched. :o

The Beano has gone high tech, from Dr. Who to Star Trek.

Doctor Who / Star Wars / Star Trek fans had to be separated by police last Sunday at a Sci Fi convention at the local university (UEA) after a long running dispute  the papers never said what the dispute was about but now they ' hope to put their differences aside' - most were in full costume
