At work the other day I heard a clang. Went to investigate, and some pizza leaflets had been put through the letterbox.
The door was wide open!

Not so odd. The clang was to notify you that something had arrived without the requirement for personal interaction of actually saying anything. As a terminally shy person, I can understand that perfectly.

Love it! :D

Two things made me smile recently. The day after her birthday Vivian decided she wanted to take her birthday money and open a savings account. She felt like such a big girl! They gave her a piggy bank for opening her first account. She asked if she would get a credit card too!  She also got her very own library card. Big day!

The other thing happened when we went to an arcade/pizza place to celebrate on her birthday. There was a little girl there, maybe 4 or 5 and she had just won a bunch of tickets from one of the games. She ran to her grandma, screeching with joy and trailing this huge ribbon of tickets behind her. It was awesome!

We got a large amount of work done at our rental property yesterday!
We got all of the carpet and underlay pulled up. I also removed the trim around 3 of the windows.

I'm truly thankful for the 2 friends which came over though. We only asked the one to give us a quote to paint the house. She and her partner were a huge help and they will be back again today. She also got us an amazing price on the paint; about 50% off!
Well, we are heading over there again.

I don't know how much we will do tomorrow. It's Canada Day and our 13th anniversary. :)

What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!
