Ditto again!

What made me smile was picking up Thing 1 from camp and discovering that instead of being in the pool with the rest of the kids, she and a couple other girls were at the pond catching frogs. :D I'm so glad there are other girls there who like to do that stuff!

And before that, Thing 2 made me smile. She wanted us to go out to lunch together today. Out of all the great restaurants we have here, she picked.... McDonalds! :? I even offered to drive us into the college town nearby where there are a whole bunch more cool options, but no. That wasn't what made me smile though. What made me smile was that she wanted to walk there and back. It's not far, but it's not exactly close either. Thought that was a great choice!

What made me smile today? Winning a competition. What that was, I'm not saying, but I won a nice (and rather poignant, given the circumstances) piece of Doctor Who memorabilia. :)
I've lived for over 2000 years, and not all of them were good ones. I've made many mistakes. And it's about time I did something about that.
