I feel terribly fluey. Every single bone hurts - in fact I've reached the point where my hair hurts...
Have a doctor's appointment tomorrow. Since the tonsils seem to have been hit worst (I can hardly swallow, so it's soup for every meal) I guess I'll be on antibiotics by tomorrow.
I know that other people have much more serious problems (health or otherwise) and I don't want to be whiney, but I really need some sympathetic 'there-theres' now.

Cheery, there there! What a nasty germ making you feel poorly. Sore tonsils are not very nice. Can you buy angel delight in Germany? Not quite penicillin, but it makes your throat feel soothed, and your tummy happy.

Those were good there-theres! I'm already feeling a bit better. I quite like the angel delight idea (we do have something that's similar I think), but since bf is almost as unwell as me, nobody is going to go shopping any time soon. I wonder if ice-cream would do the trick...
