What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

Hugs from me too! :( I'm so sorry Sharlene's not feeling well, and I can only imagine how stressful it is for you not to be able to get to her right now. Does she still have friends close by that can check in on her?

Susanne, do you remember Mike and Barbara (he writes mystery novels) from the wedding? Well they are keeping an eye on her. I got an email from Mike this morning telling me what had happened.

She was no better by Wednesday morning and unable to do the simplest of tasks. She was unable to eat and her blood sugars (she diabetic) were all over the place. So she made another trip to the ER. They have moved her to a rehabilitation centre. I don't have too many details yet, but feel somewhat better for knowing she is somewhere that will take care of her, allow her to rest and monitor her. I have been trying to get Sharlene to rest for days, hopefully she will now.

I hope Sharlene recovers soon :(

I do remember them. (I was looking at the pictures from your wedding recently. :D ) I'm so glad she has someone close checking in on her and keeping you informed. Hopefully, she'll be able to recover and go home quickly.

Well I do think it's positive that they sent her to a care home rather than keeping her in hospital or sending her home where she would have trouble looking after herself. I know this care home, it's a good place with nice staff and they'll look after her. That's what she really needs at the moment.

Unfortunately I'm not in any real state physically to go over there and take care of her myself and I am seeing doctors to try and find out why I'm in so much pain and having difficulty in walking and getting so exhausted all the time. :(

I remember how pleased you were with the place the last time she was there. And I agree, this will give her an opportunity to really rest. It will also make sure that any symptoms get addressed quickly. I know you're struggling right now too. :( I hope your doctors figure out what's going on and get you back on the road to recovery as well!

I just got off the phone to Sharlene at the rehabilitation place. She sounded good. It's as I suspected, they want her somewhere safe where she can rest and can be looked after. She has had a couple of falls in the last few weeks, so this puts my mind at rest somewhat. Thank you all again for your support and good wishes. :)
