Chances are the stuff would taste so nasty that your mum wouldn't eat it anyway Bouncy. If some of it was there for all those years and not eaten........... :? Know what you mean though. When my mum finally had to give up going into the kitchen (couldn't do the step) I systematically went through all the cupboards. Just in case she got the home help on her side when I wasn't there, I tipped the contents of every jar and half-used tin into newspaperand into the bin outside, then washed and recycled all the containers. Nothing could go back from that.

My dutch grandma is a bit like that... she doesn't throw away anything "because you never know when it might be useful", plus she's preparing for the next world war, so she also has lots of jars and whatnot... whenever there's more of us at her place we're like OK, now we're cleaning up! But she always waves it away with "nah, it's too warm" or "I don't feel like doing it right now" and so it never gets done (cause of course we aren't allowed to do anything without her  )

Hugs, Bouncy!

There's a certain jar containing one pickled onion that has been knocking around for several years in Discworld circles - made (or pickled) by the Creator Himself. It regularly gets sold for a lot of dosh at charity auctions.

Think I'm the mum and my poor daughter will be the one kidnapping my store of goodies.

It's ghastly :( But Mr Dotsie insists that it will be beautiful, so I have to trust him.

Oh, you're moving, too?

I just moved, so anyone who has my old address shouldn't post any cards, letters or whatever to it anymore. :D
So, now that's done (and the exam) I think I'll have time to visit more often again.

A very nice flat indeed. Not everything's finished yet (gotta get some lamps, a desk and some shelves for my girlfriend and some other things), but it begins to feel like home.

Yeah, I've got several of them. Gotta keep some kind of order, that's where the shelves come in :D.
I could've formulated that less ambiguous. Next time.
