I'm glad it worked out Susanne, hopefully that will be a good sign for the future metings. :D

Work screwed up mine and everyone else's pay this month by not submitting our tips to be included in our wages. This means that I will be paid something like £90 short which I had earmarked to put towards a new printer. It will be included in May's wage packet but it is bloody annoying that I have to wait to get it (I could demand a sub against it but that entails so much paperwork and faffing that it often causes more problems than it solves).

Not only that but you may pay more tax due to the double tips added for that month than you would for the two seperate months.

You should be allowed to keep any tips, without being taxed.

Turn off spell check???? NEVER! Cant because of Haydee. Mind you .... she still has no idea WHY we cant just get an AUSTRALIAN spellchecker with the "U's" in colour etc. I agree.

Minor niggle.... her maths teacher sent her a set of problems home the other day. Expand and simplify types. Am I being thick here?.... usually I am pretty good at math. It was something like.....

3 (to the power of 2) x 5 (to the power of 3) = 15 (to the power of 5) Thats what HE wrote as the simplified solution.

(3 x 3) x (5 x 5 x 5) = 9 x 125 = 1,125

not 759,375

Yes? no?

You should be able to somewhere in settings select different forms of English at least between BrE & AmE don't know about Oz English but BrE is probably closer.

Del, you can set Word to Australian English. Go to the "Language" setting in the "Tools" section and you can set it from there. You can also set your language preferences for Australian English in your Internet options. :)

Really sorry about your pay Penfold. I would be irritated too!

Del, hope you're getting some sleep!

Thanks for comments. I'm so glad it went well too. :D
