I f    ing quit I've had enough two weeks ago in a retroish gaming mood I reordered shadowman 2
I used to own it years ago but shortly after I brought it my ps2 died and I had to sell it off along with half of my games and most of my DVD's at the time to buy a new ps2
anyway cut to now I quit I've got to the second Ireland level and I keep on dying which isn't good
and what makes it worse Mike Leroi keeps on repeating the current game mission at me I bloody well know there's a way to open those doors I don't need you to tell me that over and over again just let me find the switch, lever or giant stone block I have to move to open those doors

yes I know there's a walkthough but I'm trying not to use it as I'm playing

I just received an estimated electricity bill for the last quarter. It was for £459.

£459.00?!

 :o

But .... it's estimated so..... I went to check the meter reading. They were billing me up to March 23rd. I've checked it an hour ago and put the reading into the website. And guess how much it is now? £317.00

Do the words 'daylight' and 'robbery' occur to anyone else?

Send them an estimated payment of £250. :D I did that at my previous place and the arguments about it lasted months by which time we had come to a sensible price.

The thing is getting a payment confuses their computer systems as they don't expect you to pay a different amount and you can have fun for ages .....
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..

Are they hoping you'll just pay the "estimated" amount?

Something blew up in our TV last night. :? There was a huge pop, the screen went blank and then there was that awful burnt electronics smell. We've been hemorrhaging money as it is.

Yes they are and what's more they will chase you for that amount through the courts. A bunch of crooks run our essential services

Sorry to hear about your TV though

A lot of people used to just pay the estimated bill without checking cos it was fairly close to what it should be. But these days the price goes up so often and the amounts change so much that it's always worth checking.

It's the same reason I refuse to pay by DD cos they just charge whatever they like and there's not much you can do about it.

Depends on which company you're with. Shop around, it IS worth doing. I've been with the same supplier for about 6 years, only use electricity, no gas, DD fixed price until next year but I'll shop around before it needs renewing, and my quarterly bill is half your estimate  Their meter readers also persist until they catch me at home (early mornings) so no estimated figures, and I get a clearly presented half-yearly statement. Shame that they all couldn't see their way to providing this standard of service.

roight I've had it almost a day and a half of playing shadowman 2 lost due to a bloody glitch
I had collected two Sigil's and it has registered in my inventory that I've collected them
but not in the game play so I can't progress any further so now
I'm forced to wipe all of my progress and start again and hope that the glitch won't reoccur
sod it I'm going to start blood omen and see how I'll do with that
