My friend has just posted me a couple of pics from my 'Hodgsaargh' moment. :D

In hindsight, I wish that I could have raised my camera and had been looking through the viewfinder when the owl was perched on the lens.

I was thinking when you posted the comment about the owl how good that would be to see. I'm glad someone was around to catch such a lovely moment Penners.

Amazing owl photos, Penners

There's some lovely bikes at that meet, Joolz - looks really busy.

I had a more sedateday yesterday - a small meeting of some of the Hants VW Owers Club. I normally can't make their weekday evening meet ups due to doing stuff medical for D......So when they said they were arranging a weekend meeting at the Flower Pots in Cheriton - about 8 miles from me - well it would be rude not to go.

Not loads of VWs but a nice gathering, nice surroundings, nice pub, nice ploughmans, nice beer (which they brew on site). And lovely weather. So a great chilled day with the kids running free and playing frisbee etc in the field. I couldn't get a picture of them - they were too fast!

And then......after all the VWs, heres another little wood burning. This time more rustic on a piece of Ash log - a wood spirit
