There were a bunch of pictures of Budapest in the flooding on the Weather Underground site. :?

Well, it's the happy time for photographers, internet is full of them, and I must admit they're pretty good, but still...
The Danube has reached its highest point now (about 9 meters), but it will take a while before it's all gone...

Alright it's an almost normal picture of Budapest. Taken last week, several days before the river hit it's peak today

I don't think they do now... but it's getting better, we've had the worst, although the traffic is still horrible and will take some time before it's back to normal.

I know but some of the reporting that I saw looked like the possibility of flooding was touch and go for a while. I wrote my post after a long day (4:30 start) travelling on the Isle of Wight and was rather tired at the time. :lol:

I went up to London with a friend from the camera club and had a pleasant walk along the South Bank from St. James' Park to Tower Bridge. For once, this summer, the weather was great and I got a sunburn on my bald head because I forgot to take a hat. :lol:
