And now, for no readily appreciable reason, the link works in Chrome too.

Very good pictures Penfold, the stag with autumn oak is my favorite. What is the new lens please?

Thank you. The new lens is a Sigma 150-500mm, f/5.6 - 6.3, OS, zoom lens and cost around £750. The image stabilization on it is rather impressive and seems to work reasonably well with a shutter speed as slow as 250th second*. Many of the shots were taken hand held once the weather cleared up. :D

*TIP FOR ALL: For best results to avoid camera shake, the shutter speed should be at least equal to the focal length of the lens; e.g. 1/500th at 500mm, 1/400th at 400mm, etc.

I'm glad it went well - although I have to say that they aren't the cutest bears in the world . . . :?

I know you do and you have to say that or Mitzee would get upset :D

For those not in the know, when Mc was working here in the summer she fell for a cat called Mitzee by this maker and she now lives in Hungary with Mc :D
