Great photos everyone!

Right this one's not very spectacular, but I had to capture it. Our lovely Hibiscus flowered late this year - it dropped its flowers and now it's losing its leaves, and then suddenly a final flower popped up. Summer fighting a losing battle against autumn

And here's H. The theme for world book day at school was Alice in Wonderland - so she dressed as The Mad Hatter

Excellent costume! :D
What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

Great pictures Chilli! The hibiscus popping up this late must have been a nice surprise. Not what you'd expect among all those turning leaves. H looks adorable! Her costume is great. :D

The mudpots. I loved these. They made "bloop" sounds when the bubbles popped. :D

That Mad Hatter definitely hasn't lost her muchness. Excellent costume.

That's a great Mad Hatter, haha. Brilliant. Yellowstone looks nearly as impressive :D

I love seeing all the photos! Chilli, my hat's off to young H and I hope she won the costume prize. :D I can't comment about out of season flowers as the plants in my area have no idea which season it really is.

A lot of NSW is currently fighting appalling bushfires.

This is Lithgow a town outside Sydney.

That's horrible!
That's one thing we do not have much problem with here. We usually get a good mix of Sun and Rain. The poor Californians get it pretty much every year though.
