As has already been featured here there is a wonderful ice cream seller near my parents home in Nantwich, Cheshire and each year they produce huge straw sculptures. In 2013 for the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who they chose a Dalek. The sculpture moves it's head and arms, says exterminate and is 35 feet (10.6m) tall.

Mici and I went to have a look :D

Nice pics Knight and Sister. :D Really cool dalek Mad, it would probably freak me out slightly if I saw it while walking.

I was at the Arundel Festival last night with a few of the camera club friends. Here's a couple of pics of a duo who played. :D

I spent the day at Arundel walking along part of the river and the Wetlands Trust. Unfortunately, I haven't had time to sort the pics yet (plenty of water vole) and I'm about to go out on a sort of treasure hunt where we have to drive to various Sussex villages and take photos of the answers. More to follow later. :D

I was in Brum the other day for a signing and sadly I think
it over stretched me and and with the unexpected hot weather
I didn't have enough energy left for a proper wander but I took a few pictures
not very good pictures but these are the best out of a bad lot

I made friends with a kookaburra that was sitting on the clothes line today. I think I'll call him Gimlet.

I fed him some meat.

I hope he hangs about for a while.

the big building with the white circles all over it is Miss Selfridges in the bullring
and the tree like statue is near by
and that reminds me I spent hours yesterday putting place and dates on most of my photos in my bucket account
