A CHRISTMAS MESSAGE FROM MEERKAT

Postby meerkat » Thu Dec 27, 2012 11:35 am

Dear ALL,

2012 has been my annus horribilis (or whatever), more so the latter part. I have been absent as I have been unwell and my cousin insisted I went to her for Christmas. (I am currently in Enfiled Library typing this...there are no orang utans here :shhh: :D .)

I hope you all had a happy and belated Christmas and wish you a stonkingly excellent New Year. Hopefully Iwill see you all (in the typing sense) in the latter part of January or thereabouts.

Latter thoughts: a result this year. Got the A-M Mapp, Blink of a Screen and Complete Compendium. Things are looking up! Also got all the other books books that I wanted from a wish list at half price (hardbacks too!) including a book of Blackwork from the Royal Society of Needlework (super") Long live the Book!

Hope all your wishes came true for Christmas and continue so into 2013. Lots of love, missing you all...

Meerkat. Mwah Mwah!

All the very best to you, Meer. Let's hope that 2013 is a much better year for you - and for all of us too. :)

Merry Christmas!

What Tony and Penfold said. The forum just isn't the same without you.

Best wishes for next year, hope it's a much better one and you can get on here regularly. It's not the same without you.

I can sympathise Meer--this year has been lousy (for most of the time) for me too. But got Tony with me -- not for long enough but so wonderful to have him. And since neither of us is in great shape physically, we are content to just watch DVDs and enjoy each other's company. But next year will surely be better  All the best in the :text-happynewyear:
