I'd heard about the Dr Who episodes from Paul Cornell. Exciting find for Fans. Amazing how every one else kept copies but the BBC

Uh, that's not always the case. It's a very long story, and there's not enough time here to discuss it...

Wait, Paul Cornell said something about it? Hmm.

Deborah Watling, who played Victoria, has said on her website that she's at a press conference with Frazer Hines (Jamie). That narrows down the stories at least one episode came from, as she only appeared in seven. One's complete (The Tomb of the Cybermen), and another (The Ice Warriors) was recently released on DVD, with 4 out of 6 episodes existing, so it's unlikely to be the one. I heard a rumour from a fan on another website that episodes from The Enemy of the World and The Web of Fear have been found. Frankly, we'll have to wait and see. And hope.

Seemingly Paul Cornell has a spreadsheet with all the missing episodes on it and ticks them off as they're found

Gulf States considering clinical screenings for homosexuals at airport.

Read this earlier. Not quite sure how the tests would work but its a scary thought either way. Sadly FIFA will still leave Qatar with the world cup rather than being responsible and refusing to have events in oppressive states

Well, you know, the Gulf States already use these things to keep Jews out, so I'm not surprised...

Warning: sarcasm begins:
You'd think they'd at least have the courtesy to publish what test they think will reveal "gayness." They should run those tests on their own leaders too, and everyone with more than a million dollars in their countries, and publish the results worldwide.

Haven't read the article but am at a total loss as to how clinical screening would work.
Not the Daily Mail again or equivalent is it? Trying to give us another reason to deny the vestiges of love remaining in the world until we're loveless zombies all hating each other and worshipping a shimmering screen........oh, hang on, didn't I reread Moving Pictures last year? Bless you Pterry.

[heavysarcasm]So, what, are they testing for the 'gay gene'?[/heavysarcasm] :|

A lot of them are stories or episodes I want to see, though to be fair, I don't actually care which story or stories the found episodes come from.

Y'know, if this is true, this is far better (or rather, worse) an end for Castro than plain suicide. It's far more ignominious. He deserved far worse, true, but this is much more satisfying than suicide.

And on to better news.

IT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED!

TWO DOCTOR WHO STORIES HAVE BEEN FOUND BY THE BBC. THE ENTIRETY OF THE ENEMY OF THE WORLD AND ALL BUT ONE EPISODE OF THE WEB OF FEAR ARE SOON TO BE RELEASED ON DVD!

But don't believe me, believe these trailers from iTunes, and posted by Doctor Who Online!
