Brilliant! I want a garden now, and a compost heap!
If you can fill the unforgiving minute,
With sixty seconds worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a man my son.

I suspect a lot of these cases will collapse as who can say where they were and what they were doing last month never mind in 1967

Exactly, well except for Freddie Starr, who was captured on film in the same shot as his accuser.

Stuart Hall pleads guilty to 14 counts of indecent assault.

More of my childhood memories shattered. I used to adore Its a Knockout, and Stuart Hall cracking up at the antics.

Strange how "those crazy accidents" only seem to happen when you give weapons to kids! I mean seriously how many of us haven't had a fight with a sibling, how many of us haven't done something as a kid where we haven't understood our own strength? Then there's the bulgie the hamster factor, as kids we don't understand death. My grampa died when I was 6, first time I cried about it was 12 years old looking at photos and understanding I'd never see him again!

Kristian's rifle was manufactured by Keystone Sporting Arms, which has a "kid's corner" on its website featuring images of children at shooting ranges and on bird and deer hunts.

The guns are sold in pink, blue and other colours and designs.

In the last three days at least three young boys have shot their sisters in the US, says Daily Kos writer David Waldman, who tracks accidental shootings.

In addition the Sparks case, a five-year-old girl was shot and killed by her eight-year-old brother in western Alaska on Tuesday, while a seven-year-old boy shot his sister, nine, in the leg in Auburn, Washington on Thursday.

Yes, like driving, smoking and alcohol . . . oh wait, children aren't allowed to do those by law.
