Hopefully because it's Wetherspoons they will at least have sensible prices for food and drink unlike all the other rip off merchants you find in a UK service station. This might at last bring down some of the ridiculous prices as happened at airports when Wetherspoons opened bars at most of those in the UK.

Not brand new ones which still have huge carparks in Ireland but you could be right with the older ones.

The pub I used to drink in was originally a coaching inn/hotel, and had a massive car park, garden, and at one stage, tennis courts!!

They sold off most of the garden and the courts, and it is now an estate.

Because I'm down the country most of the pubs around us are probably old coaching inns as well. And one or two of them are a state (estate Get it) :D :oops:

Maybe catering to lorry drivers and motorists who stop overnight, and the ones with motel accommodation sevices on site have a bar available inside. :|
