Honestly, I've never bought into either sides argument entirely. I personally feel it can be both a choice and something you were born with. I've known people who, even in early school, you can tell what their preference would be. and I've also know people who previously only went with the opposite sex, and preferred it, but their experience with members of the opposite sex made them so jaded and bitter toward them that the idea of being with them made them ill. But, managed to find something in a member of the same sex they never got prior.
I mean, really, in what other area of life are things so black and white that they HAVE to be either one or the other? In my experience, life never works like that. you have some black, some white, and crap load of grey.
