I've got nothing against the Daily Mail - I just think the whole thing should be printed in crayon to give readers a fair expectation of the content. They do science in much the same way that Dallas did Debbie.
I don't remember Dallas' Debbie. And I only watched some episodes when I was actually to young to and wasn't really interested, but we only had three channels and I was sick home.
Anyway, if you follow the link to the actual publication, you'll see that it is an interesting read. I'm still not sure (haven't read all of it) if it is a well executed joke or if the author really believes his hypothesis might be true. However - the author does not claim to be right, he states that he could be and has some rather convincing points. Of course, it could all be bogus points - I didn't check them all. Some are valid, though. I wonder what Darwin would've called his work if it was true and he had known.
