Have YOU read Dan Brown's new novel, Inferno, Q? :D

No. Not yet. But I've heard what happens.

My turn of phrase actually came from Transmetropolitan, where Spider Jerusalem (a futuristic Hunter S Thompson), in one of his darker moments, says "One day, I'm going to drop a bomb on this city. A contraceptive bomb."

Following on from the awful events in Washington, I found this on Twitter:

If I had a problem with ants, I'm never like, "You know what would fix this? More ants!" so I don't know why people feel that way about guns.

The guy's still alive, but even so...there's life imitating art, and then there's this.

The guy came out of a shop at midnight in London. Not necessarily linked to the game he bought as he was robbed of other items as well. Seems a tad on the side of sensationalising the story. The mugging is terrible but papers are simply trying to blame games on violence as usual.

Is he? I thought he died. Must have been half asleep when I heard it on the news this morning.

I've a feeling you are right and the fact he had a copy of GTA was purely coincidental, when taking into account his mobile and watch was also stolen.

Very true bouncy. Whatever the reason thankfully there have been arrests and the victim should be ok after a bit of time.
Sad to see the BBC reporting in the style of the Daily Mail though sensationalising a link to scare monger against the horrors of video game addiction .

Like that story a week or two ago about the 8y/o that shot his grandmother in the head. Because it was found out he was playing GTA 4 earlier that day ofcourse that gets the blame. and no one asks why a gun was left lying around.

Obviously video games are the root of all evil. cause, you now, there was no violence in the world till video games came along.
