I'm dreading setting foot out that door this morning. It's currently -2F (-18C) with a high of only 20F (-7C) expected. :(

We had a fair bit of snow yesterday 22c. It was followed by ice pellets and then rain. The traffic is so backed up, I decided to come back home and wait a while, then attempt to try and go to work again.

Yet another storm today:

Most schools cancelled across Nova Scotia today

I had to take the day off work, since I can't do any shoveling.

It is, because now it's raining and the 10+ cm of snow will be that much harder to move. :(

It's blowing a gale here and the rain is coming down as though someone has switched the river to vertical for the night. The stairs up to my place are like a waterfall and outside my front door is completely flooded.

I hope none of that is getting into your shop Mad. It's chucking it down here and blowing a gale as well.

I've had a quick look and it seems OK but it's difficult to tell as it seeps though the back wall of the shop which is cut into the hillside. I'll probably only find out properly tomorrow morning

I should have thought that wall would have been sealed Mad. :o

Blowind a gale here but rain not to heavy, was going to go to the pub but went upstairs to the drying room to collect my washing and I heard it howling and buffeting the windows so I've decided not to bother.

We've had rain here the last few days. All of our light, fluffy snow has turned to dirty, wet slush. The only upside is that it hasn't frozen. Yet.

Temps are dropping here again. And what's going to be the coldest day this week? Friday of course, when we'll be at the barn.
