Winnipeg Manitoba had 50mm of rain in 1 hours yesterday. They said it's a 1 in 100 year even.

Con, the trouble with 1-in-100-year weather events is that they tend to happen again next year.

I just hope the 1-in-100-year flooding in Britain last year doesn't repeat itself.

Meanwhile here in Luxembourg, at least 1000 km from the centre of the storm, it is seriously blowy and I have had to rescue my hat once already.

We had some snow earlier this week, but it didn't last.

It's been calm and sunny all day here but I'm sure that will change when I go out this evening.

Nothing here. It's a bright, cold morning that is just beginning to cloud over now.

Started snowing here last night quite heavy, as it's still minus temperature I will need to put out some suet balls for the birds.

Thought school would be cancelled today. I've been hearing sleet ticking at the windows since about 4am. But, I guess it's not making the roads icy, so that's a good thing.

Lots of snow falling here as well but everywhere is very wet so there is no chance of it sticking thank goodness.
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..
