And today it's dropped nearly 30 degrees, chilly and rainy. Don't you wish you were here Mad?

No answer from Mad, think he's packing and booking his plane ticket.

Oh good! By the time he gets here it will probably be as hot and humid as a sauna, and just in time for the next tornado warning. ;)

The best thing about Mid West weather was at least we had proper seasons, summer is HOT and winters are COLD and they both deserve the capitals. Tornado season was a pain but also exciting for a Brit that had never had to be prepared to head for the basement at little notice before :D

As for getting back to the US well I have other destinations on the list first, I should be back in Budapest before the end of the year (don't tell Mc she doesn't know yet ;) ) and I will also get out to Estonia to visit my friend Kadri once she has fully settled down in her own place, we talked about me being there in September or October to enjoy the autumn colours so hopefully that can be worked out as well.

 well, you're more than welcome... IF our dear Yvette settles down by then :P Mind you, maybe it's just me, but I find it a bit strange to give this...storm a name. OK, it's been raining for days, and OK, the wind is a bit sronger than usual.... but comparing her to her other big sisters it feels a bit like a bit of an insult... feels as if it only has a name to have "something interesting" happening here :?

I need to do a bit of shopping, but have to wait in as I stupidly ordered some DVDs from Amazon yesterday.

No doubt, once they arrive I will have to go out in very hot weather - tis lovely and cool here at the moment.

Because of the ongoing surgery recovery/treatment, I have chosen not to wear my handbag, which I usually have slung over my head/across my chest, so need to wear a jacket with lots of pockets.

Swealtering most days coming back from radiotherapy.

Still. Nevermind!

The rest of us are a bit crap.

Bah! A couple of days of sunny weather and now all I can smell is lighter fluid and burnt meat.
