Hazel or birch catkins? Both normal at this time of year. Our snowdrops are lovely too and a great big drift of blue/purple crocus! Last year they were hidden by snow so it's great to enjoy them now :D

Our spring was so late last year that everything bloomed together.....all the bulbs that would normally have appeared over about 3 months! You may yet enjoy snowdrops, Mad!

Hazel, I thought it was a bit early for them. :?

Saw all those kinds of plants on a walk in an Oxford park the other day :D (names pointed out not by myself - I'm not very in the know when it comes to plants). Even some pussy willow, which I don't see much, and was surprised just how furry it was. I can see why it's called what it is. :D

Suddenly the hedgerows are full of catkins here. Hazel, birch and willow too. Never seen so many :o Trouble with hazelnuts is that, even if there's a glut, the squirrels always know they're ripe before we do

It's really nice and sunny over here today. Even warmish at about 15°C.

It was like that here this morning, Mad - but now it's clouding over and looking like rain. I hope it doesn't head your way.

Weather up here in the East Riding of Yorkshire is blue sky with the odd puffy cloud, some of them are really odd but I am iognoring them! Cold but not freezing. I like blue sky, so pretty! Fingers crossed that it stays that way.
