We definitely don't want it here, Ironbridge gets cut off easily due to the steep roads to get in and out of the gorge and there are very few people visiting as it is (except Hungarians ;) ) so we need all the people here we can get

My showers don't feel hot enough. It feels like the chill has gone so deep that I just can't get warm.

Try getting some Essence of Cinnamon. Supposed to be good in hot milk (yuk) as a warmer when you are chilled to the bone.

I use it everyday as an additive to my once a day coffee, and also take it in water, as cinnamon is supposed to help control your sugar levels.

Whether it works or not, is another matter entirely!!

This is the stuff. Not sure if you can get anything similar in the US. This stuff is on Amazon's US site, but I notice that it is sent from the UK.

I know that feeling. Mind you i cant imagine temps that low.

How about a hot hot bath the temperature of lava. And never underestimate the power of a hot water bottle. .. or three.

The US east coast has been hit by the second major winter storm of the year, with up to 12in (30cm) of snow, blowing wind and bitter cold forecast.

Something similar happened near me when a Roman Temple was discovered on top of Chanctonbury Ring after the trees were blown down in the storm of 1987. It has since been covered over when the trees were replanted so you can't see any trace of it now. :(

I studied the petrified forest on the beach along the coast from there as part of my Geography 'O' level. It looks like a bit more has been uncovered but you can always see the remains of the trees on the beach at Borth

That's a shame.

School was actually cancelled today because the wind chill is so dangerously low. No riding for sure.
