Its amazing how many idiots are walking around burnt. Like the Irish sun is less potent at this temperature.

Really hot and humid here. It was so bad at riding yesterday that we were relieved when a storm blew in.

The heat and humidity here have been brutal. Opening the door feels like getting hit with a blast furnace. The other moms and I decided to pass on our riding lesson yesterday because a heat advisory had been issued, and our lesson time is at the hottest point of the day. We'd hoped their teacher would cancel, but that kept not happening.

Our forecast says it will be 30 degrees c (86 degrees f) at 5pm, and by 10pm will only have dropped by 10 degrees.

A wonderful 96 degrees with a heat index of 104, and relative humidity in the 30 percent range. I work at a hospital, and thursdays I deliver paychecks to all my companies medical practices and of course they are all in differant buildings. I love going from A/C comfort into the armpit of a gorilla.

Ugh. Not much better here. Today is the make up riding lesson for the one Thing 1 missed on Tuesday and it's not much cooler out. :( This is not going to be fun.

My little one has been doing Barn Camp this week- in preparation for Riding Camp next week- and it has been brutal for all the campers. They haven't canceled any activities, but have cut way down- the horses are way too disgruntled to have a pack of 8-12 year olds poking at them.

The heat is supposed to break here next week. How about out your way Majomull? Hopefully things will be cooler for your little one's riding camp. I'm really glad Ava's was earlier in the summer when the weather was mild. The one bonus to being out there in the heat is that the kids get to hose the horses down after the lessons. They love that!

The forecast calls for more hazy, hot and humid over the next 4 days- it is 97, with a heat index of 109 today. There is the possibility of thunderstorms moving through the area later today though. If they happen they will be doozies!
