Yep I saw. You used an exclamation mark instead of a question mark, and you deliberately missed a verb out of the sentence.

I know how you feel Perdita and I wasn't going to post either - I didn't give an extensive list and I was a little shy with the 'metalhead' stuff as I think they're called these days? So I'd certainly tick the Sabbath and LZ and I adore early Pink Floyd into the late 70's and as for Deep Purple - what a band and that early synthesiser stuff! - I nearly wrapped myself around a tree when I had Speed King on the car CD a few years back...

Happy days! What I can remember of them anyway 8)

I don't think anyone has yet mentioned:
Dire Straits
Chris Rea
Will Young
T'Pau
Diana Ross (Motown years)
Dido
Annie Lennox
Madness
REM...

I like various kinds of music except german folkmusic and rap.

Electronical music by Tangerine Dream is my favourite since 30 years
and they have changed their style quite a lot in all these years.

I also like Nightwish (the old and the new band), Linkin Park,
Deep Purple, and the soundtrack of LOTR :P

No PoohbCarrot (what does that moniker mean by the way?)- absolutely not

Anarchy 'as to be deliberate else it's just ignorance, innit?!

PS - Does an adjective ALWAYS have to be in front of a noun in a sentence in order to BE an adjective? - Is it defined by it's position or by itself? - my nine year old son was wondering - guess what - his teacher doesn't know! -

"My elk is happy"

An adjective does not ALWAYS have to be in front of a noun. In the above sentence the adjective is after the noun. 8)

An adjective is defined by itself ie; IT'S AN ADJECTIVE! Whether it's first, last or somewhere in between it's still an adjective.

Your son's teacher is a twit!
