God, Tina - that sounds horrible!
I hate it when doctors just refuse to believe THAT YOU ARE IN PAIN!! EVEN IF THERE'S NOTHING THEY CAN SEE IN THE SCAN!!!!!

I don't really understand the thing about the kidney stone/ bone in the ureter and the laser operation. Did you have a kidney stone AND that bone thing in your ureter or did the doctor mistake that piece of bone for a kidney stone? And does "Then, he does the surgery thing and Voila no kidney stone. Oh it's a mystery." mean that all of a sudden there was no stone?
Anyway, hope it all turns out well.

Oh Tina . oh you poor baby. Omg what a horror story.

Firstly. no.. Q and I aren't anywhere near the fires. Southeast Queensland has been lucky but we need rain so badly.

Oh you have been so in my thoughts lately. I was worried you had died or something. I went searching just last week though computers and notebooks looking for your address so I could send a note.

Oh what a terrible time. How how how have you survived this amount of pain for so long. Yeah I know how bad kidney pain is. I was bleeding terribly from kidneys a few years ago and the ER fobbed me off to the hospital G.P. On the way I collapsed and a doctor carried back to the ER. once he was gone they parked me back in the waiting room. 5 hours later the other patients demanded I be seen. It was only a shift change that got me seen. The new staff rushed out and had a line in in minutes.. and a needle in me with painkillers in. see... it was the hospital. I won't call an ambulance from my home.. but 5 klms away I can go to another hospital.

I was very ill for the first week... I have NO idea how how how you have managed so long in such pain. What the @#$& was tomato doing on that list? omg. Tina.. have you been assessed for what kidney damage has been done with their mismanagement? And all this in a heatwave !! when your poor kidneys needed all the help they could get.

So glad your regular Dr is back. That is no excuse for one after another medical professional mistreating you like this. Is there ANY other hospital nearby you can go to other than the one you did. Like I said the nearest hospital near me is hopeless. Three times I went there and three times I came out worse than when I went in.

Look hun ... you get well before you take a court case on. You need to put all your energies into being well first so you are strong enough to take them on.

Oh TY TY! It is not something I want to ever go through again. ChristianBecker yes, they didn't know about the bone spur, and Et Viola, it was a mystery. A bloody bloody mystery, until I got the information from another chiropractor's doctor. It was Toodle Loo, don't let the door hit you in the arse.

I am just glad to be starting to get around again. Oh and in October, one year after breaking my ankle, I got to have surgery to remove a chunk of bone. I will have to get a copy of the laproscopic picture of the chunk. I was gobsmacked, it looks like a row of sharp pointy teeth.

I was terribly scared by the kidney thing and then to be told "Well, you're better now, come back if it happens again." I don't want to have that pain again. I am so happy to be out of it. Now, I am getting back into playing guitar again and working my lungs up to SINGING again. My cat thinks I am running around screaming all the time now. Yes, it is better. Gotta run to some Shrink and counseling appts so Be Back soon! <3

p.s. I inadvertently got a new shrink and new meds, and am no longer a slave to Xanax and am on a new anti depressant called Viibryd. It has made SUCH a difference. Little weight gain, but that could also be attributed to nurses at the hospital giving my meds to me at odd times and odd combinations.

LOL! True, and fighting the depression is helping a lot. Too Much Facebook is bad for your mental health too.

Hugs from me as well Tina (if you don't mind getting hugs from some strange bloke on t'internet) That sounds terrible.

A mate of mine had kidney stones and was doubled up in pain - luckily his GP spotted it straight away and he wasn't left waiting for a diagnosis - He still reckons it the worst he has ever felt.
