Hi bigsick, Welcome to the forum I was in Chicago last year for the SF Worldcon went to Wriggley Park watched the Cubs for my 1st ball game with a couple of American friends. :mrgreen:
He willnae tak' a drink! I think he's deid! , on the other hand though A Midgie in yir hand is worth twa up yir kilt.

Dear all

I'm taking this opportunity to introduce myself. As (er . .) I've just said on another thread, I am new here. However, I have loved Pratchett for a long, long time. It was my mother - of whom the same is true - who introduced me to Pratchett. I used to love discussing the books with her! It's good to see there's a thriving Discworld (for that's what I am talking about, primarily) community.

PS: My avatar is perhaps a bit too much of a plug for something largely Pratchett-unrelated. So, moderators, please tell me if you think it should go!
EDIT: Ah OK (and with reference to the PS), I can see that it is too much. Deleted!
