I very much doubt that you would get a response from Terry via email. He used to find it difficult to keep up with his mail even before he got ill.

My suggestion would be to contact Terry's agent, Colin Smythe, whose email and contact details can be found HERE. Good luck!

Thanx for the advice Tonyblack, and thanx to everyone for the warm rewelcome hehe I love being here

Hi all, I've been reading Mr. P since the early eighties. He's been a companion from callow youth to cynical middle-age. I can't say that he charted the course of my life but he has provided quite a few of the giggles along the path I forged for myself.

I imagine that everybody has a Mr. P quote that sums up their life experience, I ended up as an archaeologist so this is mine.

"The reward for toil had been more toil. If you dug the best ditches, they gave you a bigger shovel."
"The reward for toil had been more toil. If you dug the best ditches, they gave you a bigger shovel." - Terry Pratchett, Carpe Jugulum.

Thanks Collector, couldn't help but notice your location in Ironbridge. I lived there about 10 years ago when I worked for the archaeology unit based at the museum. I had a lovely if tiny studio flat above one of the shops in the square. Many happy memories of drinking in the Coalbrookdale Inn in and the White Hart.
