One supermarket I was in had the usual little booth with a prominent sign saying over-25 sales only and the girl selling didn't look a day over 16  Think it might have been Tesco :x

Here's my first attempt at photographing fireworks. A bit of a mixed result but I was quite pleased with a couple of the fun fair that was there. It was a very small event with only a few rides and the display only lasted ten minutes or so. At least the weather was good. :D

MY pics of fireworks never work out. Its so "freeing" in so many ways. Now I just poke my head back and OHHHHHHHHH and AHHHHHHHHHH and clap like a loon when the fireworks come on. So much more satisfying.

Great pics guys.

Yeah we used to have Guy Fawkes night here when I was a kid. Now its huge displays on New Year and Riverfire is spectacular!

Then again OUR fireworks seem to happen in our warmer months... so we can make a full night of it on those lovely balmy summer nights. :D

:P

Just jealous you are! Enjoy your walk home in the cold cold slush and freezing wintery type weather and stuff... shiver in front or your heaters and try to massage the feeling back into your frozen fingers and toes! Hah!

We shall not have any discussion when I complain bitterly about the heatwaves in a few months, if not weeks, time.
