When I met him in Hammicks in Luton, The truth signing tour, it was announced that he would only sign a few books as he had really hurt his wrist badly the day before. I guess lots of people asking him to sign collections. His wrist was strapped up and you could see he was in immense pain trying to please everyone. He stayed and signed a lot more than he should have. He still found time to dedicate mine with "Accountants do party - Tax deductibly". A real trooper. He also signed my Discworld Mapp on the Map. Luckily I was there early before he threw the pen in!!!
