Here's the original voice tracks of David Prowse. As intimidating as his stature is, his voice isn't quite their. His acting's good, but compared to James Earl Jones...well, unfortunately, no contest.



I hate how that guy says Prowse is Scottish. He's from the West Counties, Bristol if I recall.

You're right, the voice isn't there at all. I couldn't imagine anyone else really. Even watching that clip I was still hearing James Earl Jones.

Except,

I know he was Darth Maul's voice, but if he'd been born earlier, Peter Serafinowicz could've done it.

Here's one of the roles us Brits first got to know Dave Prowse in. I'm pretty sure his voice was dubbed in this one too. Notice how his super powers are telling kids off for not being killed, he doesn't do a thing to try and save them in the first place. :lol:
