they kept me in for a week, cancelled the operation three times, then this morning told me i couldnt have the operation until mid october and sent me home. i absolutely despair of the incompetence shown in the nhs. i now cant work until this is sorted so it looks like im going to be skint for a while, absolutely unbelievable :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

That's pretty outrageous chris. I know they are stretched, but they should realise that keeping you out of work for months is not an acceptable solution.

What Dotsie said although I am still grateful we have the NHS, despite their faults. I hope it all gets sorted soon. :D

That really stinks! :( One thing I've learned recently about the NHS is that it helps if you "know someone". I suppose that is true for any organisation. Can you get your GP to prod buttock (not yours) or something?
