I've managed to get Fridays photos done and they can be found below. Unfortunately, due to forgetting my main long zoom lens (which I only found out about when I unpacked) I had to go out first thing Friday morning to Jessops and by a cheap replacement. Hence the picture quality of some of the photos aren't as good as I would have liked, particularly in the auditorium events where flash was prohibited and the ISO was set at a ridiculously high level (I think some were at around the 2000 mark). At this point I would like to publicly thank a chap named Gideon who offered me, a complete stranger, the loan of his Canon 70-200mm f/4 lens (value approx £1200). I think that this spontaneous spirit of generosity pretty much sums up the type of people attending and what makes such a great weekend.

Chris, if you attend the next one and shave your bum they might give you a blue dot granting advantageous access to the individual events.

That one came about because it was taken at a silly ISO and wouldn't come out in colour. All it needed (IMO) was for his head to be turned slightly more towards the camera and it would have made a great competition entry for the club.
