No, pip. Del is a magnet for any and all kinds of catastrophe, but it all happens to her. Anyone with her is safe! Want to stand in a lightning storm? - Stand beside Del.

Yay! We finally got our electricity back at 16:27 today! The generator is now quiet and waiting to be collected. The electricity fault repairers had to dig up the pavement and turn off our neighbours electricity - and all the while we had the generator going, and weren't affected by the power cut!

And FYI, I can't do the splits! Not even with a gammy leg ... which reminds me of a time when (pre gammy leg) I was walking along and tripped over.
I actually fell forward with my arms outstretched sideways, and landed face down. My sister said that I looked like a plane coming into land ... My embarrassment took a greater hit than my undercarriage!! Image

Shattered but brother is out of the woods after a bit of a roller-coaster weekend, one minute it was nothing to worry about, the next it was life threatening and then back to all okay and will be monitored as outpatient for now :roll: :D

Glad you got your lecky back Batty! :D

Back is better thank you :D , still a bit twingey and if I sit down for too long (bit hard to avoid when stuck at a puter all day) when I get up it looks like I'm nine months pregnant - no heavy lifting yet if I can help it (or cleaning, well that's my excuse anyway) :D
