Wow Del! I can't believe you're brother is home. Glad the nurses are coming around and hope he gets better soon!

Thanks Catch-up. No he wont get better soon hun. He has only a short time to live.

He cant eat or drink because he starts vomiting blood every time he does. So he doesnt eat or drink. They had him on drips and tubes for feeding in hospital. And he has a few drains in him to drain the blood and fluids that are leaking into his abdomen. So they come around to do the drains and administer morphine.

He shouldnt be alone at home.

Me too. That's just not right. It's one thing spending your last days in your home amongst your friends and family but quite another thing if you are on your own.

I can totally understand that he maybe doesn't want to die in a hospital but he will need quality care. I'm so sorry - you must be tearing your hair out over this.

He does like being at home rather than hospital true.... but thats not the case. Its hospital beds. You have to be almost dying to get one... well he is... but he keeps getting enough better that he isnt dying that day... and they prefer to give hospital beds to people that are close to dying but who they can cure.... he really should be in a hospice but they are like hens teeth... he got very sick very quickly.

Its a bit of a moot point anyway.... he dehydrates and starves so he should be back in hospital very soon anyway.
