No this isn't the "Lets bag the Olympics" thread.
What does "bag" mean in this context?

We're going to put the Olympic Stadium and the Games into a bag, and take it home-
what do you think it means?
To 'bag' something is to badmouth it. I thought that was British slang as well as Aussie slang. Oh well.

I found London bad enough in winter with nothing special going on (especially the Tube), so I reckon that if I was over there during the Olympics, it would be utterly unbearable.
Del, have you been watching Psychic Expo ads? I detest the word fantabulous, partly because it isn't a word. And if it was, then I would purge it with fire.
But seriously, what is the point of the Olympics? It's basically a revival of a Greek ceremonial games where men would compete naked (and no ladies were allowed to watch or, with some exceptions, compete, because Ancient Greece was a misogynistic group of city states, with the exception of Sparta, which was just a military dictatorship). Can you imagine running at full pelt in the nude? I can't. I could see some
very painful injuries in a nude athlete's future.
