Originally i wanted a wicker man burning on a beach but we'd never get a dry enough day

   So true, it's piddling down right now, and I really wanted to mow my lawn (not!) :D

Well we're on a flood alert here so it could get worse

Personally I never had either of my kids christened, but then I'm an atheist & got married in a registry office & not in church, we prefered the money for a down payment on our house, but I digress.
If you both want that it's your choice. Good luck with the christening of baby Harry.
Best wishes,
Tiff

We made the smae choice with keeping the money that would go on a big wedding and using it as a down payment for the house. Smart choice . :D

For a christening, you could consider that you'd be unlikely ever to wish that you hadn't christened a baby, but you might one day wish that you had. So if you'd quite like a christening, then do it.

Get married. That should be non-negotiable :P Doesn't even need to be a big wedding (just a few from the forum, you know).

Certain choice items might have to take a different route :shifty:
