Nice one Janet! Our local garden club works so hard to make our little town beautiful. They have arrangements in planters all over town and they're really beautiful! We also have a sculpture walk and I love it when the sculptures are in one of the landscaped areas. So, I have a special appreciation for gardeners!

Spidey, I want to know where you're going too. Would love to say we've got a trip booked, but we're still in the negotiation phase. Weirdly, we do have next summer's trip booked - going to Yellowstone!

What made me smile yesterday was getting the girls to agree to go through their toys and get rid of stuff. Surprisingly, it wasn't the painful process it's been in the past and they readily agreed to let go of some things! Had to stop hubby from saving the wooden train set when he got home though. But I can't really talk because if it had been the Potato Heads they were giving up I would have tried to hold on to those myself.

One really disappointing thing though. A couple of years ago they got remote control Wall-E and Eve toys. I love them! They got packed away because they were just never played with. Put new batteries in them and Wall-E worked for all of 5 minutes. I have no idea if there's any way to get him working again. Eve worked, but not quite like she was supposed to.

The guy in the coffee shop in Durham yesterday morning made me smile just for his friendly smile and inane chatter. Might not work on some grumpy people but he brightened a wet morning for me and the rain had stopped by the time we'd drunk our coffee
