Very sad.
On the bright side - the Netherlands seem to be a sensible country where people can wish for euthanasia. Or rather get their wish granted.

I'm sad because I've just heard that the lovely lady I know from another forum, who is very ill in the Netherlands with cancer, has asked for euthanasia <?sp> injections and will very shortly be gone.

I'm glad that she's going to be out of the tremendous pain that she's currently in, but will miss her jolly posts a lot.

Rest in Peace, Mari.

I know it is upsetting, as you are going to miss her, but you should focus on her vibrancy and humour, and that she made you laugh.
Give Thanks that you knew her, and that she is no longer suffering.

Oh Bouncy. When you first told me I didnt realise she lived in the Netherlands. I didnt realise she had an "end by" date (and in no way do I mean that in an offensive or flippant way). Im so sorry. 66 is so young. Then again my brother is only in his 50's. Who are we fooling. No time is a good time to die.
