You're probably right but I may well have been put off if someone on here said they had one and was disappointed with it :liar:

Compared to other branded tablets the Sony isn't that expensive and the finish is worth it. Just been watching a movie on it and the screen quality is superb. I guess it comes down to budget/purpose. Mine is to pretty much replace my laptop and is far more portable

Pip, Thats the thing, noone had a single real complaint about it, it was just, average. apart from the IR transmitter and remote control function there wasn't anything special about it. it ran fine, the sound was fine, the picture was fine, the apps and OS were fine, but thats it, it was just, fine. its like those movies that no one hates, but aren't on anyone's favorite list and if someone mentions it its like "oh yeah, i remember that, it wasn't bad".

I got a mini laptop with the works for work etc so my tablet was purely for watching stuff on buses etc and a quick internet viewer so not worth stretching to too much but if it was to replace my laptop i'd splash out :D

If everything is fine its a good piece of kit then :D I'm happy once it does the job it says it will without getting you annoyed etc. Still curious that i've never seen visio in a shop this side of the world but maybe they just want to concentrate on their existing market

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vizio

that article is somewhat old though. They already have on the market 65" 480hz Full Array active 3D Led tvs. Sam's club had them for $1995 about a year ago. but i've seen them for $1595 since then though. and my store has the 70" edge lit LEDs already for about the same as that original price. ofcourse Edge lit are cheaper then full array (back lit) LEDs
