I can do the boiled egg, but would have to steal the lilac. Thought about knicking some from the neighbour but round here people are looking out of windows even in the middle of the night.

Lilac flowers have already gone around here. I'll look if I can find a lilac shirt to wear.

Same here. It is usual to put up lilac as a decoration at graduation here, but there were hardly any even then and that was three weeks ago. I even forgot to buy eggs

They're pretty much finished here as well. I "would" have had some, but I cut the lilac tree down a few weeks ago. I say "tree" because it was too big and did not look very good. It always bloomed much later than the others around here.

What's wrong with that? It's quite special, having lilac when it's gone everywhere else... but I guess, if it's too big, it has its disadvantages

Yeah, and it was growing parallel to the ground for a couple of feet and then up; I guess to try and catch the light. We trimmed it a few times, but it just wasn't nice anymore.

I was quite a bit higher than the deck railing when I cut it down. We planned to plant something else there, or maybe a fountain of some type. With moving though, we will probably leave it as is.

Yes. Yes I will I have a lilac tree in my garden. I put some in a little vase on my daughter's bedside locker this morning.
