I agree that the currency in the USA is boring looking. Currently in California a loaf of whole wheat bread costs $3.00 to $5.00 and a 5lb. bag of white sugar is just under $2.00.

It took me ages to get the hang of the fact that the 5c coin is bigger than the 10c coin. It would help if they were marked rather than having "Dime" and "Nickel" on them.

Especially since our 5p coin is about the size of a Dime and our 10p coin is the size of a Quarter.

Had my english oral exam today and it was horrible, but I so had to think about this thread. My task was to reflect on three images: one with Forints on it, one with Euro's and one with a distributing machine... The horrible thing was that I could've talked about lots of things concerning money and economics and this kind of stuff, having studied it for 5 years, but I only know the terms in French And I was so blocked I couldn't even come up with words like offer and demand (which is the same in French)
