We had a Joey as a pet when we were kids. He used to come everywhere with us. We'd put him in a backpack whenever we had to hide him or if we were on our bikes. We got busted at the local pool once, he got caught eating the grass. Ah, happy days.

Wow, a pet joey! :D I can't even imagine it. Did he live in the house?

Yeah, he pretty much had free range of the place. I grew up in the outback, we had all kinds of pets.

He could hop the fence when he got bigger & one time he disappeared. We all hoped it was the call-of-the-wild type thing, though I didn't think he knew he was a kangaroo.

Tortys love red stuff.

My mum's neighbour has many (and raises them from eggs, too) and they love tomato, strawberry, anything red.
