Considering that the spectators used to crowd some of the tracks, and how dangerous it was for both driver and spectator, I'm quite happy that the safety has been considerably improved - even though some of the 'excitement' has been lost along the way.
Too many drivers died, and it was a scot - Jackie Stewart - who campaigned the hardest to improve things.
My favourite F1 team is McClaren, followed by anyone that Ross Braun is involved with!
Going to my school was an education in itself. Which is not to be confused with actually getting an education (Schultz)
