Seriously though - I don't know if people always 'get' message boards. A message board is for all its members and a message board is only as good as its members.

If you are a new poster or you don't post very often then try to make the effort to do so. I've known some sites where people wait for the regular posters to do everything like they are afraid they'll get told off. Well some sites are like that, but I like to think this one isn't. That doesn't mean that if you start a thread people will automatically post there. I've started loads of threads that have died. There's nothing wrong with that.

Make the effort and contribute - it's fun! Honest!

Did I turn 500? - so I did! I was having so much fun posting I wasn't keeping count lately! I don't think I'll manage to catch up with you or chris.ph and Tiffany though Tony...

... but what Tony's saying 'shy members' who like to read but not post - just get your toes in the water and join in the mayhem. You know you want to and as you can see none of us bite! And although some of us are barking (as in loony ) it's only because we're all getting into the Discworld spirit and you know what fun that is!
