Well, it's that time of year. The germs are officially circulating. We've all felt a little under the weather this week and Ava woke up congested and coughing. :(

What? You have to wait until germs are officially circulating? :D

All our students are back next week, so I'm looking forward to my cold.
What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

Being subjected to a germ attack is NOT to be sneezed at! Image
Going to my school was an education in itself. Which is not to be confused with actually getting an education (Schultz)

Mr WW is starting a cold. Going to put him in quarentine. Or apply my favouite remedy.... Garlic, lots and lots of garlic.

(sorry, I'm just really in the mood now :P )

I hope Mr. WW feels better soon! You can combine garlic with a teaspoon of honey... disgusting, but sure works!
Listen.

I suggest Mr. WW takes several large doses of whisky immediately before taking mC's combination. ;)

Ugh. I'm miserable. :( In spite of being good and resting all week, I've gotten worse. And now I can no longer put off all those things I put off earlier in the week. Have to get stuff done. Have to go out. By the time hubby got home yesterday I was done. He and the girls brought me dinner in bed and he went out to get me some cold medicine. Thank the gods for Sudafed! It will hopefully keep me functioning long enough. Thing 1 is back to school, but Thing 2 started coughing this morning. Just really hoping we're all ok for the weekend. The girls have a horse show and if either one is too sick to be in it they will be heartbroken.

Oh catch-up.........

You have forgotten the first rule of parenting as stated by my Mum....

Mothers dont get sick.
Mothers never get tired.
Mothers dont ever want two minutes to themselves.
Mothers never need to go to the toilet.
Mothers dont need sleep.

It did go on and on but I forget the rest..... she would wander around mumbling bits of it when the world fell in.

Until I was about 8 or 9 I thought she was SERIOUS!!! I couldnt wait to be a mother!

Be easy on yourself catch-up. Rest!
Just keep swimming... just keep swimming.. just keep swimming....
