Thanks folks. Good to meet you all. I started reading Discworld books a couple of months ago because I felt a duty as I lived there. And then I couldn't stop. Not getting any work done. I'm hooked, obsessed, and all the things that used to happen in the far distant days of my youth when I never had a novel out of my sticky little fists. I'll see you at Hogswatch. I decorated the tree there one year when I cleaned the hall.

Welcome to the site, Margi! I've been to Wincanton myself for one of the Hogswatch events. It's a lovely part of the world. :D
Look, you've got it all wrong! You don't NEED to follow ME, You don't NEED to follow ANYBODY! You've got to think for your selves! You're ALL individuals!
Yes! We're all individuals!

Hi everyone,

I've posted already a few times over in the Dodger thread, but thought I'd better introduce myself officially! I'm Oliver, from Essex, and you'll be incredibly surprised to hear I'm a huge Pratchett fan.

I hope to become more and more active on these forums, so I hope you'll let me stay :)

What Mad said! (It's not actually your house, you know :P )
What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

Getting an education was a bit like a communicable sexual disease. It made you unsuitable for a lot of jobs and then you had the urge to pass it on.

Going to my school was an education in itself. Which is not to be confused with actually getting an education (Schultz)

No. I don't imagine anyone west of Bree would have much interest in "adventures."

From me too.
Some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them.
